MEET THE TEAM

Meet the faces that make Vybe feel like home.

Every member of our team is comprehensively certified in reformer and mat pilates, with additional education in pre and post natal care, so you’re supported at every stage of your movement journey.

Abbey
Founder/Head Trainer

Welcome to Vybe Movement. I'm so glad you're here!

Teaching has been at the heart of everything I've done for over 20 years. Across primary and secondary education, dance, personal training and Pilates, I've had the privilege of helping people of all ages build confidence in themselves and their movement. Every experience has shaped the way I teach movement today.

That love for teaching extends beyond the studio floor. I'm passionate about mentoring Pilates instructors as they begin their teaching careers, helping them build confidence, refine their coaching and develop the practical skills that only come with experience.

Building Vybe from the ground up has given me the opportunity to bring together everything I love about movement and teaching. I drew on my experiences as both a trainer and a client to create the kind of studio I would want to walk into myself. There's nothing I enjoy more than seeing people back themselves and realising they can do hard things.

My sessions are all about intentional, progressive movement and building strength that lasts. I want you to move strong in here so you can move fearlessly out there, while knowing you have a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Add in a playlist full of 80s, 90s and 00s throwbacks and you've got my kind of session!

What I'm most proud of is that people feel like they belong here. From the moment you walk through our doors, my goal is for you to feel genuinely welcomed, supported and encouraged, no matter where you're starting from. I hope every session leaves you feeling stronger, a little bit proud of yourself and coming back for more.

I love pushing clients outside of their comfort zone, ensuring everyone feels encouraged and capable, regardless of their experience level.

I focus on creating a welcoming, safe space where our members can work hard, have a laugh, and leave feeling stronger and more confident than when they walked in.

You'll usually find me chatting with our members before and after class. I believe building genuine connections is just as important as the workout itself.

I love creating upbeat, feel-good classes that leave you feeling stronger, more confident, and walking out with a smile.

There are two sides to my classes you can always expect a challenge because I love seeing our clients work towards their goals, but I'm also passionate about slow, intentional movement that helps you reconnect with your body, clear your mind, and switch off from the outside world.

One thing you can always count on? The music will be pumping! Think house beats, remixes, and R&B. I take my playlists very seriously (basically a DJ... in my dreams).

My favourite part about being a trainer at Vybe is the incredible community we've built. Whether it's meeting someone for the first time or catching up with a familiar face, it's the connections we make every day that make this job so rewarding. And getting to work alongside the best team is just the cherry on top.

I can't wait to see you in the studio!

My journey started exactly where many of yours does, as a client at Vybe. I was right there alongside many of you, sweating, surviving and secretly loving the burn, (just like you guys, right?)

With a background in primary school teaching, I realised how much I loved helping others learn, grow and achieve their goals. So I decided to combine that passion with my love of Pilates, and I haven't looked back since.

I'll usually be one of the faces welcoming you into the studio, but you'll also often find me in classes myself on a reformer next to you. I genuinely love training just as much as I love teaching, and I believe the best instructors never stop being students too.

One of the things I love most about Pilates is how inclusive it can be. Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities, goals and stages of life, making it such an empowering way to move. My aim is for every person who walks into my class to feel welcome, supported and challenged in a way that works for them. I love getting to know the clients in my classes, their goals, their strengths and what motivates them, so I can help them progress with confidence while still having plenty of fun along the way.

If you see me around the studio, please come and say hello! Just a little warning... I'm a bit of a chatter, so if you're in a hurry, you might need to factor in a few extra minutes!

I love watching people discover what they’re capable of, grow stronger, achieve things they never thought possible and leave each class with a little more confidence than when they arrived. Being even a small part of that journey is what makes teaching so rewarding.

My classes are a supportive space where you’ll be encouraged and celebrated. You can expect a challenging session, positive energy and a few laughs along the way. My goal is for you to leave each class feeling stronger, more confident and proud of what your body can achieve.

I can’t wait to move with you!
